Ga Mantse in Stable Condition After Road Accident in Oti Region

The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is in stable condition following a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region while the King was returning to Accra from Tamale.

Sources close to the palace indicated that the Ga Mantse had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa. The visit was described as cordial and significant, forming part of ongoing engagements between traditional authorities aimed at strengthening unity and mutual respect among Ghana’s traditional institutions.

However, on his return journey to Accra, the Ga Mantse’s vehicle was involved in an accident. He is reported to have escaped unhurt and remains in stable condition.

Personnel from the Ghana Police Service responded swiftly after being alerted to the scene.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the accident are yet to be fully disclosed. Meanwhile, sources say the mood at the palace is one of relief and thanksgiving, as the Ga Mantse continues to recover and is said to be in good spirits.
