NPP National Executive Elections: John Boadu, Justin Kodua and others elected
John Boadu has been elected NPP National Chairman, while Justin Frimpong Kodua retained the General Secretary position.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has elected its new national executives following the party’s National Executive Elections.
John Boadu was elected National Chairman after securing 2,888 votes, defeating Boakye Agyarko, who polled 2,408 votes. Paul Afoko obtained 719 votes, while Sammy Crabbe received 41 votes.
General Secretary
Justin Frimpong Kodua retained the position of General Secretary with a decisive 4,486 votes.
He defeated Sylvester Tetteh, who received 1,340 votes, while Eugene Boakye Antwi and Dr Charles Dwamena obtained 162 and 129 votes respectively.
National Treasurer
Alfred Kojo Thompson was elected National Treasurer after polling 2,243 votes.
He was followed by Tahiru Issahaku Moomin with 1,605 votes, Collins Nuntwiri Nuamah with 1,582 votes and Hajia Ruka Saida Ahmed with 687 votes.
Vice Chairpersons
The party elected three Vice Chairpersons.
Kojo Fosu Boadu, popularly known as Kojo Bamba, emerged as First Vice Chairman with 3,116 votes.
Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, was elected Second Vice Chairman with 3,061 votes.
Nana Akomea became Third Vice Chairman after polling 2,987 votes.
Other candidates included Mustapha Hamid, who polled 2,956 votes, Yaa Amponsah Frimpong with 1,503, Richard Ahiagba with 1,001 and Masawudu Mohammed with 890 votes.
National Organiser
Daniel Nii Kwartey Titus Glover was elected National Organiser after securing 2,964 votes.
Ali Maiga Halidu came second with 2,231 votes, followed by Kwame Amo Prempeh with 445 votes.
National Youth Organiser
Abanga Yakubu Fuseini emerged as the new National Youth Organiser with 1,550 votes.
Clement Opoku Gyamfi polled 631 votes, while Michael Osei Boateng received 78 votes. Vera Oye Bram, Chris Lloyd and Alfred Kumi Ababio received 44, 46 and 25 votes respectively.
National Women Organiser
Mavis Hawa Koomson was elected National Women Organiser after polling 783 votes.
She defeated Hajia Safia Mohammed, who received 429 votes.
Nasara Coordinator
Alhaji Ali Suraj retained the Nasara Coordinator position after securing 372 votes.
Alhaji Salim Bamba polled 311 votes, while Awal Mohammed received 106 votes.
Communications Officer
Dennis Miracles Aboagye was elected National Communications Officer unopposed.
The results mark the emergence of a new national leadership team tasked with steering the NPP’s affairs and preparing the party for its next political phase.
