Accountability Concerns Dominate Trobu Constituency Contest
The contest for the chairmanship position in the Trobu Constituency of the Greater Accra Region is taking a sharper turn, as members of the DFM team intensify calls for answers from the Shadow Team’s candidate, popularly known as KOA.
With both factions actively campaigning and mobilizing delegates, the debate has shifted toward issues of transparency, performance, and constituency involvement.
Supporters of the DFM team argue that several straight forward questions posed to the Shadow Team have remained unanswered for days. Among the concerns raised is whether KOA has participated in any official programs within the Trobu Constituency. Delegates are reportedly asking for clear proof of such engagements.
There are also questions about KOA’s impact at the national level, specifically whether he has assisted or connected any individuals from the Trobu Constituency to opportunities since assuming his position.
Another issue drawing attention is his current role as a three term treasurer for the constituency. Critics are demanding to know whether he adequately accounted to members following his last tenure, particularly after earlier concerns were reportedly raised about financial accountability.
According to sources within the DFM camp, these and several other questions continue to dominate discussions among delegates. As the contest approaches, observers say the ability of candidates to address concerns directly may influence the outcome of the race.
