Berekum — Tragedy has struck the Ghana football community following the death of Berekum Chelsea striker Dominic Frimpong, who reportedly lost his life after a violent robbery incident.
According to reports, the promising young forward was shot during an armed robbery attack while returning from Berekum Chelsea’s league match against FC Samartex 1996 in Samreboi.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
The heartbreaking development has sent shockwaves through the Ghana football fraternity, with teammates, supporters, and football lovers mourning the loss of a player widely regarded as one of the club’s rising talents.
