According to eyewitnesses and police reports, both victims had attended a company manager’s wedding on Saturday, November 22. Later that night, the woman reportedly reported for a shift but fell ill and was sent home. Around 8:00 p.m., residents saw Baba’s vehicle enter the factory area before parking with the engine running a state that persisted into the next day.

On Monday morning, workers and neighbours noticed a foul smell coming from the car. Police forced open the vehicle’s windows and discovered the bodies in an advanced stage of decomposition. At the time of discovery, Baba was reportedly dressed only in a singlet and shorts.

The female employee had reportedly been planning her own wedding for December 2025; Baba, meanwhile, is said to have married in August, and his wife is currently pregnant. Authorities say the cause of death remains unclear and have launched investigations to determine what happened.

Police have taken the bodies to the morgue as forensic experts begin autopsies and further investigations. Community members remain shocked and are demanding answers as speculation swirls over the circumstances surrounding the pair’s deaths.
