Addressing journalists in parliament today, Dr. Amoah said he was speaking out not to "save face" but to protect the integrity of public information.

"A society without good information cannot make good decisions," he stated. "I want the people of Nhyiaeso and Ghanaians to judge me based on my actual work, not on rumors."

The Nhyiaeso MP said the report, allegedly compiled by Musah Dankwa and his team, does not reflect his contributions in Parliament and in the constituency.

Dr. Amoah pointed to his record in the House as evidence of his work.
He noted that many of his extemporaneous statements and contributions on the floor of Parliament have been deemed significant enough to be referred to committee for further consideration.

"Go to the Hansard. Check the record. My work is there for all to see," he added.

While Mr. Dankwa and his team have been critical of Dr. Amoah’s performance, the MP said he remains focused on defending Nhyiaeso and delivering results for his constituents.
