The donation, presented as part of grassroots mobilisation efforts, underscores growing internal support for Mr. Agyapong’s bid to lead the party into the next general election. The former Member of Parliament for Assin Central has officially declared his intention to contest the NPP flagbearership, pledging to build a united and prosperous Ghana.

Mr. Agyapong’s campaign is anchored on economic transformation, job creation, and entrepreneurship, with a strong emphasis on fostering partnerships between local entrepreneurs and international investors to expand exports and create sustainable employment.

Recent opinion polls suggest momentum in his favour, with surveys indicating support levels ranging from 44.11% to 53.80% among NPP delegates, placing him in a leading position in the flagbearer race as the primaries draw closer.
