Jeremie Frimpong set to join Liverpool on a five-year deal

Dutch international of Ghanaian descent Jeremie Frimpong will reportedly join Premier League giants Liverpool on a five-year deal, Africasoccer.com has reported.
Frimpong is joining the Reds as a replacement for England international Alexander Arnold, who is set for Liverpool departure.
The enterprising right-back is departing Anfield as a free agent after failing to extend his contract with the English outfit.
However, Liverpool have identified the former Celtic defender, who plies his trade for Bayer Leverkusen as the perfect replacement for Arnold and are said to be close to sealing a deal worth €40 million.
Frimpong will sign a contract that will keep him at Liverpool until the summer of 2030.
Frimpong has been consistent in last two seasons for the Bundesliga outfit. He was instrumental when Leverkusen secured the Bundesliga title last season.
This season, Frimpong has scored five goals and provided 12 assists in 48 appearances across competitions for Leverkusen.
