"We have what it takes to compete with the best"- Black Sharks coach reacts after Beach Soccer AFCON draw
Black Sharks coach Daniel Kotey remains confident ahead of the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations despite being placed in a tough group.
Ghana will face hosts Egypt, Morocco and Tanzania in Group A of the tournament set for next month in the North African nation.
The Black Sharks secured qualification for the tournament after brushing aside West African rivals Ivory Coast.
Following the draw held in Cairo on Thursday, coach Kotey stated his team's readiness and believes his boys will go to Egypt and make the country proud.
"We respect all our opponents, but we are ready to showcase our talent and aim for the best in the tournament,' he said.
"I am confident that my team can match up against the other teams in Group A, and we have what it takes to compete against the best on the continent," he added.
Meanwhile, Group B comprises champions Senegal, Mauritania, Malawi and Mozambique.
