A group of market women at Dome Market have sent a sharp warning to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), urging the party to avoid electing a flagbearer who insults or disrespects people. Their comments came during an interaction with Hon. Gloria Owusu, Member of Parliament for Trobu when she visited Dome market to shop, she said this publicly during her declaration for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in a viral video.
They emphasized that "the party must choose a humble and disciplined leader who treats Ghanaians with respect".
“We don’t want any flagbearer who insults people,” one of the traders said bluntly. “We need someone calm, respectful, and focused on solving problems — not fighting or attacking others.”
