Police Arrest Suspect Over Alleged Secret Recording of Women and Minors in Spintex-Manet Area

Accra — Police have reportedly arrested a suspect identified as Chukwuemeke, a Nigerian national, in connection with an alleged privacy breach involving the secret recording of women and minors in the Spintex-Manet enclave.

According to reports, the suspect is accused of covertly installing recording devices inside a public female restroom facility. Preliminary forensic examinations of electronic devices recovered during investigations allegedly uncovered more than 130 videos involving women and young girls recorded without their consent.

Authorities are also investigating additional allegations linked to possible unlawful activities involving minors reportedly connected to the suspect’s retail establishment.

Police say investigations remain ongoing, and further details are expected as authorities continue examining evidence related to the case.
