President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has launched the National Service Authority (NSA), a significant milestone in Ghana's youth empowerment and national development efforts. The NSA replaces the National Service Scheme (NSS) and will provide better deployment opportunities and quality service delivery under the new Act.
Speaking at the launch, President Akufo-Addo emphasized his commitment to youth development, national cohesion, and citizen responsibility. He highlighted the NSS's impact, deploying over 150,000 graduates annually, with 50,000 serving in education, saving Ghana approximately 3 billion cedis in wage costs each year.
