Trabzonspor Women sign Black Queens forward Princella Adubea
Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor Women have announced the signing of Black Queens forward Princella Adubea.
The contract duration for the former Ampem Darkoa Ladies markswoman has not been disclosed by the club.
Trabzonspor confirmed the signing of the 25-year-old via a statement on their website on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
“Following Samsunspor's withdrawal from the league, the maroon-blues, who have risen to the Turkey Insurance Football League, have accelerated their transfer activities to strengthen their position in the Super League,” the club said.
Before adding, “The maroon-blue club announced that they have signed Princella Adubea.”
Princella Adubea last featured for Israeli Women’s Premier League side MS Kiryat Gat, a club she has been with since joining from Spanish side Racing de Santander in 2022.
She struggled with injuries last season and was out for almost seven months, missing many of the Black Queens’ 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Adubea has already started training with Trabzonspor ahead of their Super League game against Fenerbahçe.
