The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially invited all five presidential aspirants to participate in the balloting exercise scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra, at 11:00 a.m.

According to a letter signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the exercise will determine the order in which candidates’ names and symbols will appear on the ballot paper for the January 31, 2026, presidential primary.

The letter congratulated the aspirants on successfully completing the vetting process and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to a transparent and democratic internal election.

Those expected to participate in the balloting are:

  1. Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong
  2. Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong
  3. Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong
  4. H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
  5. Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum

The distribution list also includes copies to the General Secretary, Acting National Chairman, and Chairman of the Presidential Elections Committee.
