Pilot Frank Donkor’s Wife Shares Emotional Tribute After Tema Plane Crash

The wife of late Ghanaian pilot, Frank Donkor, has stirred national emotions after sharing a heartbreaking tribute following the tragic plane crash in Tema.
In an emotional message circulating online, Naomi Donkor expressed deep grief over the sudden loss of her husband, describing him as her “hero” and declaring her enduring love despite his passing.
The late pilot, who had over 15 years of experience, died alongside his younger brother when the light aircraft they were aboard crashed at Oninku Park in Tema on March 16, 2026.
The tragedy has been particularly devastating for the family, as Captain Donkor had only married a few months prior to the incident, making the loss even more painful.
In a viral video, his wife shared moments from their life together, accompanied by the emotional words: “Asem ato me… Rest well, my hero. I will love you forever.”
The incident has triggered widespread mourning across Ghana, with many Ghanaians offering condolences and prayers to the bereaved family.
Authorities are continuing investigations into the cause of the crash as the nation reflects on the loss.
