Accra, March 5, 2025 – The President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, Ms. Esther Cobbah, accompanied by the President of the African Public Relations Association (APRA), Mr. Arik Karani, and officials from both institutions, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

During the meeting, Ms. Cobbah extended her congratulations to the Minister on his recent appointment, expressing confidence in his ability to enhance Africa’s global image. She reaffirmed IPR Ghana’s support for the Minister as a distinguished member of the institute and emphasized the potential for stronger collaboration between IPR and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Strengthening Africa’s Image Through Public Relations

Mr. Arik Karani, President of APRA, used the occasion to discuss the upcoming IPR Ghana Knowledge Conference and the 50th anniversary celebrations of APRA. The delegation sought the Minister’s support in ensuring that the events receive the necessary visibility and backing, reinforcing their role in shaping Africa’s global communication strategy.
