Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, has called on the private sector, hospitality brands, and creatives to invest in African food culture, culinary tourism, and food innovation hubs, stressing that “food is not just nourishment, it’s a tool for growth and unity.”
The Minister, joined by Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah and key officials from the Ministry, toured the festival grounds, engaging with chefs, exhibitors, and diplomats.
This year’s Afro-Gastro Festival attracted over 14 embassies, corporate partners, and renowned artists like Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Bessa Simons, Sherifa Gunu, and Byno Ayoni, making it a vibrant celebration of African creativity, culture, and cuisine.
The Minister hinted that next year’s edition will be bigger, following the overwhelming local and international interest.
