Team Legal Wives Break Down in Tears After Court Hearing

Accra — Members of “Team Legal Wives” were left emotional following proceedings at the Accra High Court on Tuesday, after the court halted plans for the “Celebration of Life” of the late Daddy Lumba.

The court, during the hearing on March 25, adjourned the case to April 23, effectively putting on hold the much-anticipated event, which had been scheduled to take place in Accra. 

Reports indicate that preparations for the ceremony were far advanced, with key family members, including the late musician’s wife, Akosua Serwaa, and other relatives, already in the country for the occasion. 

The development reportedly sparked emotional scenes at the court premises, as members of the group and supporters expressed disappointment over the ruling.

The case is expected to resume in April, where the court will determine the way forward regarding the planned event.
