Trobu MP Gloria Owusu Donates Medical Equipment to Ga North Municipal Hospital

The Member of Parliament for Trobu Constituency, Hon. Gloria Owusu, has donated a range of medical equipment and supplies to the Ga North Municipal Hospital to support healthcare delivery in the constituency.

The donation, made on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, included sterilising drums, a Mindray laboratory analyser, microscopes, a power generator and other essential medical supplies.

The intervention is expected to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to provide efficient and quality healthcare services to residents within the municipality and surrounding communities.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Gloria Owusu said the donation forms part of a broader plan to support and equip health facilities across the Trobu Constituency.

She said the intervention is only the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that residents have better access to quality medical services.

The MP was accompanied by key executives of the NPP Trobu Constituency, including Constituency Chairman Desmond Frimpong Manso, the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Research Officer, Communications Officer, Women’s Organiser and Deputy Youth Organiser.

The Ofankor Mantse, Nii Kotey Boi II, together with members of his traditional outfit, also attended the ceremony in support of the initiative.

The donation has been welcomed as an important intervention towards improving the capacity of health facilities and healthcare delivery within the Trobu area.
