Asamoah Gyan, Ghana legend in an interview said he believes Ghana will make it to the next stage of the world cup
Asamoah Gyan, Ghana's legendary striker, is confident that the Black Stars will advance to the next stage of the 2026 World Cup. Ghana has been drawn into Group L, alongside England, Croatia, and Panama, which Gyan acknowledges is a tricky group.
However, he's optimistic about Ghana's chances, citing the team's strong support back home and their determination to succeed. Gyan, who represented Ghana at three World Cups, believes the current squad has the talent and drive to make it happen.
Gyan's confidence is rooted in his experience and Ghana's past performances. He's the nation's all-time leading scorer with 51 goals and Africa's highest scorer at the World Cup with six goals.
Croatia's coach, Zlatko Dalic, also expects a tough game against Ghana, praising the Black Stars' quality and pace. Ghana's next challenge is to navigate their group stage matches and secure a spot in the knockout rounds.
