Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta Sues National Security Operatives for Alleged Trespass, Seeks Damages

Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has filed a lawsuit against two National Security operatives, DSP Bismark Boakye Ansah and Chief Inspector Mensah, also known as Sir Mensah, for allegedly trespassing on his private residence.
A writ of summons issued from the High Court of Justice, General Jurisdiction, Accra, commands the defendants to enter an appearance within eight days of service. The suit, dated March 11, 2025, warns that failure to comply could result in a default judgment against them.
Ofori-Atta, who is demanding damages for the alleged violation of his property, has not publicly commented on the case. However, the development has sparked widespread interest, with many awaiting further details from the legal proceedings.
