In a press statement issued on October 16, 2025, and signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, the Service confirmed that the clearance paves the way for the processing and payment of the affected teachers’ salaries.
Key Details
- The financial clearance allows GES to finalise all necessary administrative and payroll procedures to ensure prompt salary disbursement.
- The clearance, which expires on 31st December 2025, provides the necessary budgetary approval for the inclusion of the teachers on the mechanised payroll.
- GES assured that all affected staff will receive their first payments by November 2025.
Management’s Assurance
GES expressed gratitude to the affected teachers for their patience and dedication during the delay and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
