((JH News)) Respect us with a little humility - Torgbey Akpo Ashiatakkpo VI To
Jh News - The Paramount Chief of Weta, Torgbey Akpo Ashiatakkpo VI, has cautioned former President John Mahama to show humility and respect to the people of the Volta Region, particularly in Weta.
This comes after Mahama's comments about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) engaging in propaganda in the region. The chief defended the NPP's achievements, citing the construction of the first district hospital in Weta, which was initiated in 2017 and completed in 2020 under President Nana Addo's administration.
He emphasized that traditional leaders prioritize serving their people over political affiliations and will acknowledge good deeds by any government.
The chief's remarks follow Mahama's snub of the chiefs of Ehi and Weta during his visit to the Ketu North Municipality in the Volta Region."
