The New NDC Will Restore The Economy And Protect Ghana's Democracy - Hamza Suhuyini

Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communication Team, Hamza Suhuyini says the new government will honor its promises to the people of Ghana while ensuring a stable economy and a thriving democracy.

Speaking as a panelist on Citi Tv's BreakfastDaily, he argued that putting into consideration the mechanisms the new administration is putting in place to ensure economic growth and development, it will be impossible for any party to dethrone the NDC government.

''One thing is certain, this New National Democratic Congress we are championing, I can assure you that it is going to be difficult, extremely difficult for any political grouping to be able to unseat the new NDC''.

He mentioned that the new administration is on the right path and they are putting mechanisms in place to honor all the promises they made to the Ghanaian citizens stressing that there maybe setbacks, but they will ensure all promises are achieved. 

''We know what we are doing, we know our promises to the good people of this country, and we will do everything within our power to fulfill these campaign promises. There will be challenges but I can assure you that many of these challenges are surmountable.

Mr. Suhuyini posited that, the new government will ensure transparency and accountability in all its dealing by being honest to the people and taking into consideration their pleas and concerns while working in respects to those concerns.

''We will ensure that we will remain true to the good people of this country, we will remain moderate, we do not use inventive that can be described as insulting to the Ghanaian people when they raise legitimate concerns about what needs to be done for their country to move forward''.

Commenting on accountable and transparent governance, he noted that the media as the Fourth Realm of the Estate will be safe under the new administration in order to exert its duties freely and peacefully while holding the government accountable to the people.

''We will respect the Fourth Estate, the media. We will protect the lives of media men, We will do everything within our power to ensure we have a very acceptable platform for the media men and women of this country to be able to carry out their roles''.

He stressed further that, the new administration is putiing mechanisms in place to foster economy growth and development while working within the legal framework to ensure a thriving democratic practices in the country.

''We will remain committed to the foundational principles of our democratic space, and do everything within our power to ensure that we protect the santity of the 1992 constitution. When it comes to the economic space as well we will do everything, humanly possible to ensure that we resuscitate the comatose economy that was handed over to his Excellency John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress''.
