In a statement issued by the party’s National Secretariat, the NDC said its national executives had been alerted to widespread reports of bribery allegedly perpetrated by some aspirants during the primaries held today.

The party described the alleged actions as an affront to its core values and principles, as well as the reset agenda it is championing.

“The party vehemently condemns these actions in no uncertain terms,” the statement noted.

According to the NDC, a full-scale investigation has been immediately instituted to probe the matter. The party assured that swift action would be taken against any candidate found culpable.

It further warned that stricter sanctions could be applied in future incidents, including the possible cancellation of elections where such irregularities are detected.

The statement was signed by the General Secretary of the party, Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.
