According to statements from party officials, the controversial audio clip has been circulating widely on social media, prompting concerns within the leadership about internal discipline and messaging.

The NDC’s Regional and National executives subsequently took the decision to suspend the officer pending further investigations into the matter. The party says it will follow its internal disciplinary procedures to determine the appropriate course of action.

The NDC has not yet publicly released the audio recording but has stressed that members are expected to uphold party loyalty and refrain from making statements that could harm its reputation or undermine recruitment efforts.

Supporters and political analysts say the incident underscores the challenges political parties face in maintaining unity and discipline, especially in a highly competitive political environment ahead of upcoming elections.
