Fire Service Ladies Association Marks 30th Anniversary with Nationwide Float

JHNews || Accra, August 26, 2025 – The Fire Service Ladies Association (FISLA) has kicked off activities marking its 30th Anniversary with a colourful float staged across most of the Regional Commands of the Ghana National Fire Service.

The event, held simultaneously nationwide, saw members of the association showcase solidarity and visibility as part of year-long celebrations to highlight their contributions to the Service and the nation.

At the Fire Service Headquarters in Accra, the float drew participation from officers, service women, and members of the public, creating a lively atmosphere ahead of the anniversary’s main commemorative events.

FISLA, established three decades ago, continues to play a pivotal role in promoting welfare, professionalism, and gender inclusivity within the Ghana National Fire Service.
