Volta Regional Fire Command Holds Refresher Training for Officers

Ho, August 31, 2025 – The Volta Regional Commander of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), ACFOII Joseph Freeman Tetteh, has organized a refresher course to build the capacity of Investigation and Operations Officers.

The training, held on Friday, August 29, 2025, focused on fire investigation techniques, incident management, and the causes of fires, with the aim of sharpening officers’ skills and addressing existing operational gaps.

Participants expressed gratitude to the Commander for the initiative and pledged to apply the knowledge gained to improve fire safety and emergency response in the region.

The programme forms part of ongoing efforts by the GNFS to enhance professionalism and efficiency among its personnel.
