Ghanaian musician Article Wan has publicly expressed his frustration and disappointment with the music industry, citing a lack of support, intentional sabotage, and the overwhelming influence of gatekeepers who manipulate the system to their advantage.

In a candid conversation with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Article Wan revealed that he feels stifled and undervalued by the industry, stating, "Ghana is sitting on me, and it's extremely difficult. I have a lot to offer, but I need support to share my talent with the world." He emphasized the need for collaboration and collective support to overcome the challenges he faces.

Article Wan also shed light on the existence of gatekeepers in the industry, who he believes wield significant power to make or break an artist's career. Although he refrained from accusing anyone of intentionally sabotaging him, he acknowledged the alarming reality of the situation. He shared his personal experiences of facing obstacles and disregard, despite his exceptional talent and relentless hard work.

Furthermore, Article Wan highlighted the prevalence of favoritism and cliques within the industry, where artists are often judged based on their connections rather than their talent. He noted that this unfair system can lead to deserving artists being overlooked and undervalued.

Despite the numerous challenges he has faced, Article Wan remains optimistic and grateful for the unwavering support of his fans and the success of his music. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the opportunities he has had to collaborate with other artists and produce hit songs, including his notable collaborations with Patapaa and Joey B, which have gained international recognition and even made waves in Russia.
