NSA Terminates Volunteer Appointments as Part of Restructuring

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced the termination of all volunteer appointments in its offices nationwide, effective February 28, 2025. This decision forms part of the agency’s restructuring efforts aimed at optimizing operations.
According to a circular signed by NSA Director General Mr. Felix Gyamfi, exceptions will be made for districts with only one staff member, where a volunteer will be retained to assist. Additionally, vacant districts will maintain essential personnel, including an assistant, cleaner, catering staff, and farm workers
The NSA expressed appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the affected volunteers. Heads of Departments, Unit Heads, and Regional Directors have been instructed to ensure the return of all NSA property, including laptops, documents, and motorbikes, by the stipulated deadline.
