The incident reportedly occurred when the students were at the stadium as part of an educational or recreational visit.
Eyewitnesses say several fixtures and fittings were damaged, prompting calls from community leaders and fans for disciplinary action against those responsible. Authorities are said to be investigating the matter and working to identify individuals involved in the alleged vandalism.
