In a virtual meeting held yesterday, Ghana's s Foreign Minister engaged all 71 Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Heads of Missions, and Consul-Generals worldwide in discussions aimed at strengthening the country's s diplomatic service.

The Minister commended the envoys for their dedicated service to Ghana and outlined key initiatives, including President Mahama's vision for governance, ongoing institutional reforms, and the establishment of a delivery unit to enhance the efficiency of the foreign service. Other issues discussed included key performance indicators (KPIs) for envoys, strategies to better serve Ghanaians abroad, passport reforms, and the welfare of staff in diplomatic missions.

Emphasizing the importance of responsiveness, the Minister urged the envoys to prioritize the concerns of Ghanaians living overseas, ensuring that they feel valued and supported by their country.

Reaffirming the governments commitment to delivering on its promises, the Minister assured that the ongoing reforms would drive positive change, stating, We shall not fail Ghanaians. Mahama's reset shall be achieved.
