KNUST SHS Student Breaks Silence: “I Am 19 and Not 13 please”
JHNews || After viral speculation, a KNUST SHS student clarifies she is 19, not 13, in the controversial video involving the Assistant Headmaster. GES has dismissed the headmaster and launched a full investigation.

The student at the centre of the KNUST Senior High School fondling scandal has spoken out publicly, dismissing widespread claims that she is a 13-year-old minor. She insists she is 19 years old, born on July 21, 2006, and therefore not underage as speculated.
In an interview with Adom News’ Kwadwo Obeng Mireku, the visibly distressed young woman sought to clear the air, saying:
“Just tell them I am 19 years old. I was born on July 21, 2006. I’m not 13 years old.”
Her clarification follows days of intense public outrage after a video went viral showing the now-dismissed Assistant Headmaster, Charles A. Aidoo, fondling her during school hours. The video quickly spread across social media platforms, sparking debate about sexual misconduct in schools, the protection of female students, and the responsibility of education authorities.
