The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation has issued a disclaimer alerting the public about unauthorized individuals fraudulently soliciting funds under the guise of supporting the Kumasi Childrens Park Restoration Project. According to the foundation, these individuals have created fake social media pages and online platforms to mislead the public.

In a statement, the foundation clarified that neither it, First Atlantic Bank, nor Nguvu Mining Limited ” partners in the restoration project”have authorized any third-party fundraising activities outside their official communication channels. The project, launched on December 5, 2024, is a collaborative effort between the three entities, with all legitimate updates and funding requests shared exclusively through verified platforms.

The foundation has urged the public to remain vigilant and avoid engaging with or donating to suspicious pages, individuals, or platforms falsely claiming to represent the initiative. It has also encouraged people to report any fraudulent activities to the foundation or via its verified social media accounts.

The statement emphasized the importance of ensuring that the project benefits the community as intended and remains free from exploitation. The foundation expressed gratitude for the publics cooperation and support.
