President Orders Flags at Half-Mast After Helicopter Crash

Accra, August 6, 2025 — President John Dramani Mahama has directed that all national flags fly at half-mast for one week in honour of the victims of the Ghana Air Force helicopter crash.
The military helicopter, which went missing earlier today, was later found crashed at Adansi Akrofum in the Ashanti Region. All eight people on board, including senior officials and crew members, lost their lives.
The President described the incident as a national tragedy and called on Ghanaians to unite in mourning and prayer.
