Ghana Gold Board Suspends NK Benark Enterprise License, Shuts Trading Shops
JHNews || Ghana Gold Board has suspended NK Benark Enterprise’s license and closed all its trading shops nationwide after the arrest and prosecution of owner Bernard Nkrumah over alleged gold-related offenses. The public and miners are warned to stop any transactions with the company immediately.

Accra, September 16, 2025 — The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has suspended the license of NK Benark Enterprise and ordered the immediate closure of all its trading shops nationwide.
According to a compliance notice, the action follows alleged complicity in gold-related offenses involving the sole proprietor, Bernard Nkrumah, who has been arrested and is facing prosecution before the High Court.
GoldBod has directed all licensed traders, miners, and the public to cease any gold transactions with NK Benark Enterprise. The agency stressed its commitment to enforcing gold-trading laws “in the spirit of accountability and transparency.”
