BUSINESS MEETING WITH GREAT GIANT FIBRE AND GARMENT COMPANY LIMITED

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) hosted representatives of Great Giant Fibre and Garment Company Limited at its headquarters in Cantonments, Accra.

Great Giant, a global textile and apparel manufacturing company with operations in Vietnam and Madagascar, expressed its intention to establish a manufacturing facility in Ghana under the Free Zones Scheme. Mr. Max Han-Chuan Hsu, who led the delegation, highlighted Ghana’s peaceful, democratic, and business-friendly environment as key factors influencing their decision.

Dr. Mary Awusi, CEO of GFZA, welcomed the initiative and assured the delegation of the Authority’s commitment to supporting the company’s investment plans. Mr. Latif Apau Wiredu, Deputy CEO (Operations), emphasized the competitive incentives, facilitation services, and strong investor support offered by the Authority. He also noted the project’s alignment with the Ghana National Export Development Strategy, the 24-Hour Economy Policy, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

Also present were Mr. Musah Sibiri Hamidu, Deputy CEO (Finance and Administration), and Ms. Anita Novi Quashie, Director, Marketing and Investment Promotion.
