Lawyer Herbert Krapa Donates Water Tanks to Pokuase Amid Ongoing Water Crisis
Pokuase, Ghana – Former Energy Minister and renowned legal practitioner, Lawyer Herbert Krapa, has come to the aid of the Pokuase community with a donation of two 4,000 litre poly tanks to help alleviate the area’s persistent water shortage.
The community of Pokuase has been grappling with a severe water crisis since January, which residents attribute to challenges under the current administration. Traders, food vendors, and residents have repeatedly appealed to the government for support, but say they have received no concrete response.
Amid growing frustrations, community members turned to Lawyer Krapa for assistance. Speaking to reporters, he recounted his visit to the area: “When I saw the situation in Pokuase, I asked myself, how are these people cooking, bathing, and managing daily life without water?” He said the experience moved him to act immediately.
In response, Krapa delivered two large water tanks to the community, fulfilling a promise he made during his visit. He also encouraged others who are in a position to help to step forward and support the people of Pokuase.
This act of generosity brings much-needed relief to residents and highlights the importance of collective efforts in addressing local challenges.
