MultiChoice Responds to Minister’s Comment on DStv Pricing
MultiChoice has clarified that, although it is open to discussions with government on DStv pricing, it has not approved any cut in subscription fees.

JHNews || MultiChoice Ghana has issued a statement addressing recent comments by the Minister for Communications Technology and Innovation, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, regarding DStv subscription fees.
In the release dated 5th September 2025, the pay-TV operator confirmed its willingness to continue engaging with the Minister to find a “mutually beneficial solution” that would not compromise the sustainability of its services in Ghana.
While pledging to fully participate in the government’s Working Committee on DStv pricing, MultiChoice emphasized that it has not agreed to any price reduction.
