NDC MPs Struggling with English; ‘Minority Has Become Majority in Parliament’ – Former NPP Minister

Former Minister of Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, has claimed that despite the National Democratic Congress (NDC) holding a majority in Parliament, they appear to function as the minority due to their struggles with the English language.
Speaking on Movement TV on February 16, 2025, Abubakar alleged that several NDC Members of Parliament (MPs) serving on parliamentary committees find it difficult to express themselves fluently in English, which has led to their relative silence in the chamber.
There is a saying that in all things, we should give glory to God because if this hadn't happened, we wouldn't have learned a lesson. Someone told me, Minister, it seems the NPP looks better than the NDC in power, she remarked.
