FINANCE MINISTER URGES PARLIAMENT TO APPROVE 2025 BUDGET ESTIMATES

Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has canvassed support from his colleagues in Parliament to pass the various estimates of the 2025 budget to help government implement its economic policy to foster economic growth.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Post Budget Workshop held in Parliament he revealed the budget includes various transformational measures such as the Big Push,the establishment of the Ghana Goldboard,Agriculture for Economic Transformation amonsgt others.
These he believes will champion sustainable growth. 
Emphasizing key revenue and expenditure initiatives designed to drive economic growth and ensure fiscal stability. 

Dr. Ato Forson further outlined the government’s strategic policies, urging lawmakers to support the necessary legislations that will operationalize these initiatives. 
He again urged the esteemed House of Parliament, particularly his colleague MPs to support these measures and pass the necessary legislations without delay.

He stressed the need for swift legislative approval to ensure the smooth execution of these policies, reaffirming the government’s commitment to economic transformation and inclusive growth.
